The purpose of the course is to maximize the student’s confidence and to consolidate the fundamentals up to a combat situation for those who are using a pistol as a primary firearm in a tactical environment.

  • One Hand Only: Combat Shooting, Reloading & Malfunctioning Resolutions

  • Physical & Mental Stressed Shooting Drills

  • Combat Team Shooting Drills focused on “Shoot-Move-Communicate” Principles

  • Principles of Tactical Weapon Light Use in Low/No Light Conditions: Shooting Techniques, Use of Barricades, Shooting on the Move.

  • Minimum three high-capacity (15+ round) magazines or six low-capacity (7-8 rd) magazines

  • Magazine holders

  • Belt

  • Ballistic eye protection

  • Active Ear protection

  • Firearm cleaning kit

  • Rain gear Clothing appropriate for climate and conditions

  • Water bottle or other hydration system

AMMO SUGGESTED QUANTITY

  • 500 rounds handgun ammunition; 9mm is the minimum service caliber for this course
